Terms and Conditions

Service

Fresh and Clean agree to perform the work specified by the Client in professional maner using every care to accomplish a satisfactory service. You represent that you have read and agree with our Terms and Conditions at all times while using this Site. You may not use this Site in any way that involves a failure to abide by the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this Site. The Client is responsible for the provision of cleaning materials and equipment when booking a regular or one-off cleaning service. Cleaning equipment must be in full working order. In case where cleaning materials and equipment are not provided/not in full working order, the result from the cleaning visit may not be successful, Fresh and Clean cannot be held responsible and no refund can be claimed by the Client for the job in question. Fresh and Clean will provide a replacement cleaner should the Client requires cleaning service if his/her regular cleaner is not available.

PAYMENT

Regular Cleaning Service

Payment must be made by cash or cheque on the day of the cleaning visit or at the end of the month upon receipt of a monthly invoice. The Client is charged on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis according to the client's request for number of cleaning hours and interval between visits. The Client can change the number of hours and the interval between cleaning visits by giving an appropriate notice before the next cleaning visit.

One Off Cleaning Service

The Client must pay to Fresh and Clean £13.50 (Excl. VAT) per hour for a one-off cleaning visit unless promotional rate applies, minimum of 3 hours per visit applies. Payment must be made by cash /credit/debit card card no later than the day before the cleaning visit or the Client may pay a 50% deposit on the day of the booking. The balance outstanding should be settled on the day the job is completed. The client is advised to book the service for the same day the inventory check will take place. If the Client is dissatisfied with the work has done on his request then Fresh and Clean ' would like to come back and re-do the job free of charge. The Client is responsible for providing the tasks list, cleaning materials and equipment. We do not know how dirty a home is until we start cleaning it. Some homes need only maintenance cleanings. Others need quite a bit of work and take longer. The size and condition of your home determines how long it will take to clean.

Carpet and Upholstery Steam Cleaning

Payment must be made by cash/debit/credit card on the day of the carpet cleaning visit or the Client may pay a deposit on the day of the booking. The balance outstanding should be settled on the day the job is completed. There is a £55 (excl. VAT) minimum callout charge. Congestion Charge and Parking are surchared. The client is advised to book the service for the same day the inventory check will take place. If the Client is dissatisfied with the work has done on his request then Fresh and Clean ' would like to come back and re-do the job free of charge.
Please note that in some cases the Client's carpets cannot be cleaned as new because of old or permanent damage/stains which cannot be removed completely using Fresh and Clean ' carpet cleaning equipment. Fresh and Clean operatives use the latest top of the range PROCHEM and NINJA extraction systems and chemicals. Situations when such damage/stains occur must not be classified as unsuccessful and a full payment for the job should be made.

End Of Tenancy Cleaning

Payment must be made by cash/credit/debit card no later than the day before the cleaning visit or the Client may pay a 50% deposit on the day of the booking. The balance outstanding should be settled on the day the job is completed. The client is advised to book the service for the same day the inventory check will take place. If the Client is dissatisfied with the work has done on his request then Fresh and Clean ' would like to come back and re-do the job free of charge. The standard end of tenancy cleaning does not include cleaning of walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, exterior windows and carpets. We do not carry out cleanings of painted walls, ceilings, gardens and exterior of buildings. However, if cleaning of balconies, patios, exterior windows, steam cleaning of carpets and upholstery is required then an extra quote will be provided. Washing up or laundry are not part of the above service and will not be carried out. The property must be vacated and preferably without furniture, cutlery etc.

Claims and Insurance

Fresh and Clean is insured by ????????? and has full public and employer's liability cover. Fresh and Clean has to have a chance to rectify any problems arising as a result of its work. Any claim should be made as soon as possible (preferably within 24hrs of the service), unless there is a reasonable explanation of late notice. In case of a complaint of breakage or damage, Fresh and Clean requires information as soon as possible to rectify the problem. If the customer is not completely satisfied with a cleaning job, Fresh and Clean will re-clean free of charge any areas and items to customer's satisfaction. Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost by our operatives.

Below is a list of conditions Fresh and Clean cannot be held responsible for:

  • Domestic cleaning job not complete due to the lack of suitable cleaning equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaner, mop, sponge, clothes, cleaning liquids etc.)
  • Wear or discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed. Old stains that cannot be removed using normal carpet cleaning methods.
  • Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely by the cleaner using the provided by the client domestic cleaning products or a standard carpet cleaning equipment. In some cases the Client's carpets cannot be cleaned as new because of old or permanent damage/stains which cannot be removed completely using Fresh and Clean ' carpet cleaning equipment. Situations when such damage/stains occur must not be classified as unsuccessful and a full payment for the job should be made.
  • Accidental damages due to faulty equipment provided by the Client.
  • Please note that all fragile and highly breakable items such as porcelain and china, cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value, art and antiques must be removed or secured.
  • We do not carry out cleanings of painted walls, ceilings, gardens and exterior of buildings.

Cancellation

Regular Domestic Cleaning - Clients can cancel the long term booking within 7 days beginning the day after the contracted service.

The Client may cancel/skip a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours notice. If not notified on time Fresh and Clean will charge the full amount for the cleaning visit and no refund can be claimed. The Client may terminate the regular cleaning service by giving one month notice in writing specifying last cleaning date. The Client must pay to Fresh and Clean any amounts that he/she owes under the agreement. Fresh and Clean reserves the right to cancel the cleaning service with immediate effect due to non payment.

The Client may cancel/re-schedule a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours notice. If not notified on time Fresh and Clean will not refund any deposit paid in advance or will charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price for the booked service.

By ordering Fresh and Clean ' service by telephone, e-mail, fax or Fresh and Clean ' website the client is agreeing to be bound by Fresh and Clean ' terms and conditions.
